Scrapyard Fighting Game: UI Artist and Sound Designer Wanted!

Posted by FrostedMuffins - February 24th, 2013

Howdy!!

I'm the Team Lead on a 4 player fighting game called Scrapyard. It's a super zany brawler where you play as animals in customizable mech suits and beat the crap out of each other. Our goal is to get the game onto Steam through the Green Light program. We're also in the running to get our game shown off E3 and at the Game Developers Conference in March.

Most of the developers are students but we have a ton of experience with members having worked at places like Blizzard, Lucas Arts, Sony Santa Monica, Industrial Toys, and more. We are all working on this game without pay, but it makes for one hell of a portfolio piece.

Some old gameplay footage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTa6ghg0YYE
Here's our website: http://scrapyardthegame.com/

We're currently looking for a UI Artist who is experienced in Flash to help jazz up the game and get it looking spiffy!

We're also looking for a Sound Designer to bring to life all the awesome characters, weapons and effects!

Please let me know if you're interested!

First
saw the trailer and it was awesome for an indy project,
I bet it will do well on release

That game you're working on looks nice. I'm not sure if you actually every finished it since this is an older post, but it could use some clean-up in the animation and graphics and maybe some more effects. Kind of reminds me of super smash bros.
