Loved it! So cool how you pick which portion of the boss fight comes next. Each of the boss mechanics were tough at first but once you learned what to do it was very rewarding. Art and music were on point.

Thanks home-slice, long time no see around these parts!

Alright game, again

It's a good concept, probrably it's most redeeming feature. It's a pretty simple thing that you seem to have expanded on a lot. But I can't help thinking how much better it would be with just a few small adjustments.
Since this is the 2nd generation of pretty much the same game, I was expecting some of the previous problems to be fixed. For example, depth swapping, extremely easy thing to do, and adds a lot to the experience. I always get dissapointed when two objects come together with the one in the back looking like it's infront. It's really not that hard to do and I'd expect with someone like yourself with a lot of AS experience to be able to do that.
Graphics got a bit better I think, I don't fully remember the last ones. And a few new objects I think. Kinda cool.. not enough for full blown sequel, guess that's what Avalanche is for. I know your opinion on it, but I do see it as a bit low to submit a lower end version of this.
Overall, it's still a cool concept, wish it was done a bit better, but hey, thanks for making it.

josh-tamugaia responds:

I thought I fixed depth swapping in this one. I did.

Cool game Inglor

I was enjoying it lots, until it wouldn't go to the next level. I had the same problem in my defense game, it had something to do with the stupid depths though. It was enjoyable none the less, and couldn't agree more with the opening message. Good job on actually submitting something and getting an award.

Inglor responds:

thanks for the kind words :)

I have no idea what is with the level bug, i'm pretty sure I fixed it though by now

There are too many idiots for this to do well

Most morons don't understand the point of this, so at least you can get underdog. Good luck.

liam0 responds:

ha ha, thanks man <3

Shame on you!!!

You animated WAAAAYYYYY too much to even be considered a mimic of IllWillPress!
this was actually really freaking funny, didn't expect it. I hate that there are so many people who don't see that IllWill is a talentlass dumbass. Very funny, anywho, good job :)

hamandcheeseclock responds:

thank you kind sir

Ok, I've got one for ya

Glaiel_Gamer created a 3D flash engine, and his rocks! I might have though differently of this if I had never seen Glaiel's. Too bad. So, ya, it didn't seem too 3Dish, I'd be right over the sticks and yet they'd still look far away, then I'd take a step and they'd disappear. This also shouldn't have been submitted. Get the finished version out and that's all you should submit. If you just have an engine, post it in the BBS or something.

joearchy responds:

but im trying to create an engine that allows you to look around your environment not just in one perspective

Anyone who doesn't give this game straight 10's is

on crack. There is sooo much to do and it is a blast to play. There are so many weapons, and enemies and levels. The gameplay is addicting and doesn't get tiresome even after hours of gameplay. Why the hell this doesn't have a score well over 4 is beyond me. So much effort went in to this and Glaiel, it finally has paid off. I hope you stick to doing more game like this, rather than quick games that take a few days to make. Yeah it takes forever, but it feels a lot more accomplishing when you're done. I really love this game, keep it up!

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

When it was under judgment easy and hard modes didn''t work, and people votes lower, but I fixed that now, and it's score continues to rise. But hey, I have a whole nother day for it's score to rise for a portal award.

Getting old....

Dress-ups are not fun and they seem to be what everyone wants to make. It's just a bunch of still pictures being put over eachother, not that great. And did you actually make fun of someone who complimented you in the review before mine? If you are going to update an already bad game, at least spend a while on it, I remember just seeing version 2 about a week ago. Do something new.

SpinningCubeClock responds:

bite me, you suck!

<READ THIS> PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

This was a great game. Graphics could be improved and the gameplay could have been made better if we could attack and in different ways. Also, when you kill someone they should have a death animation. And every once in a while, there should be bosses, so the viewer will be entertained after playing for a while.

I make games too, you may have seen some of them. I can help you with whatever type of programming help you need (hopefully) if you can help me. I've been trying to figure out forever how to have enemies rotate according to you position. Please help me out. My email adress is in my profile.
Thanks a lot-
Evan Greenstone

yasui responds:

Thanks for the kind words man, i really appreciate it.

btw, this is the code you need for the rotate thing:
delta_x = this._x - _root.hero._x;
delta_y = this._y - _root.hero._y;
this._rotation = -math.atan2(delta_x, delta_y) / (math.pi / 180);

Heeeeeyyyyyyy
