Stop complaining!!! This is a truelly great game! The programming is brilliant, the art is wonderful, it is all together great!
Here's a little over view everyone who hasn't made a game should read:
It is freaking hard and long (no pun intended) to make games!!! It can take months just to make a game someone can beat in a few minutes. Two enamies, each of which require a long list of code to give AI, is a lot of hard work to make. So stop saying it needs more! The physics are hard too, so stop complaining, I thought he did a brilliant job with all coding in this.
I hope you got the point.

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT PROGRAME YOU USED!!!! I hope to be a programer when I grow up so I need practice in some 3d programs, flash is great, but it doesn't deal with the 3d dimensions and stuff. Please tell me and I will be eternally greatful!!!

Alright, here's my story. I've been working my ass off forever because when I'm older I hope to work for a company that makes video games and be a programmer. So, I looked through this and I knew almost all of it. Question!!!:
The part with the madness character and the jumping. When you have the code:
if (Key.isDown(Key.SPACE) && !jumping) {

the !jumping part, does that create a statement? Or is that a set function? What I mean is, could I create something like,
!hitpoints
and and then a new statement would be hitpoints?
So if I assigned a movie clip (badguy) with a certain amount of "hitpoints" using that kind of code, and had it minus whenever he was hit, I could just have the code subtract from "hitpoints"? I don't make much sense, I know, sorry but this would be a huge breakthough for me I this is true. So many more possibilities!!! Thank you so much!

Hmmm, im not really that sure :/ but i think if you want something to have hitpoints, you create a hit var. I think it might wokr with that !hitpoints thing, but im not 100% sure. Maybe in another tut, ill look into this idea and see what i can do with it. Thanks for the review! ^_^ sorry if i didn't answer your question tho

Nothing Special

Add stuff like power ups, otherwise it's nothing that great. Some advise. I can tell that you had a button for the flashes that you had to blam. Instead of giving them the code of:
on (release)
try
on (press)
that way, you only have to click it, not click and release on it. So ya, hope my suggestions helped.

Don't submit these kinds of things to newgrounds. You are obviously doing this for the money. You get paid, you are a professional. The great thing about newgrounds is that it gives non professionals a chance to showcase their stuff. We do it for fun, not for the money. You're just going to get all the rewards and prizes when other people who don't get paid could have.

Hmmm...

I don't know quite what to say. Some of the stuff didn't work on my Flash MX 2004 Pro, is that the same version you have? The zoom didn't work, and that was something that I was looking for earlier and couldn't find. I havn't tested most of the other stuff yet. You should be able to skip to what part you want to go to. You should also explain your variables more.

Damn you!!!

This has to be unbeatable. Every single time I play it, I die at the same part. I get to the beer land, jump a few huts and stuff, then there's a part where a gunner and a hut are right together so it's impossible to survive!!! I've died at the same place at least ten times. Great game though. The only thing I can suggest is to fix that shaft over hut thing, and make a death animation when you get hit. Otherwise, this is my third favorite game on newgrounds!

You have some of the greatest talent I've ever seen. How the hell did you manage to actually script every graphic and all of the controls and everything without a single drawing? You are seriously awesome at scripting. Keep up the good work.

Ummm... it's not that hard. It only took two days to make, and I wasn't working on it half the time. I've seen people make Tetris out of pure script, and only 1 KB in size. Now THAT's what I call scary.
